Benzylone 2PW is an aqueous glycolic solution of 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one. It is specifically recommended for the preservation of Leather, polymer emulsions, paints and coatings, adhesives, and printing inks.
Benzylone-2PW is suitable for applications in the water-based polymer, leather, paint, textile, printing and dyeing, metal cutting fluids, adhesives, inks, dyes, dye dispersions industries to resist corrosion. The concentration of Benzylone-2PW required to adequately preserve product depends on several factors. These include the susceptibility of the system to microbiological degradation, the extent to which micro-organisms can gain access, the species involved, pH, temperature, and length of time for which protection is required.
Benzylone TN is an aqueous solution of a synergistic blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one together with hexahydro-1, 3, 5-tris (2-hydroxyethyl)-s-Triazine.
Benzylone TN is broad spectrum of activity against micro-organisms, allowing a robust preservation of a wide range of products such as paints, adhesives, latex emulsions, building materials such as mastics, caulks, joint cements, spackles and grouts, concrete admixtures, pigment dispersions and other technical water based products. For protection against bacterial and fungal attack, a concentration within the range of 0.01-0.20%. The amount of preservative to be added is dependent on the susceptibility of the raw materials against microbial spoilage and their level of contamination.
Benzylone T85 is a broad-spectrum microbicide designed for the effective preservation of industrial water-based formulations against microbial contamination.
This powder biocide contains 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) as the active ingredient, offering strong protection against bacteria, fungi, and yeast. It is particularly suitable for use in the formulation of polymer emulsions, paints and coatings, adhesives, and printing inks. Benzylone T85 is also used as a raw material in the production of both dissolved and dispersed biocidal products based on benzisothiazolinone.
