2- Days Training Module on “Computer Aided Drug Design”

Corporate institute of Pharmacy, Bhopal has organized 2- Days Training Module on “Computer Aided Drug Design” on 17.02.2025 & 18.02.2025 for B. Pharm students. Training Module was inaugurated by Dr. Prashant Gurudev, Dean Admin CGI and Dr. L.K Omray, Principal CIP. 14 Participants (Faculty and students) from other institutes of Bhopal and 35 students from CIP (Total 49 participants) were registered for the Training Module and participated with great zeal. During Training Module participants learned the concept and principle of Drug Design and Docking. Participants understood the simulation techniques, Molecular Modeling, Homology Modeling, Quantum mechanism etc. They also gain knowledge of QSAR, Drug Likeliness’ and High Throughput Virtual Screening. All the participants were trained by the demonstration and operation of various softwares like Schrodinger, Valstate, Chemdraw etc. Training Module was concluded with the valedictory ceremony headed by Dr. Prashant Gurudev, Dean Admin CGI and Dr. L.K Omray, Principal CIP followed by certificate distribution to all the participants
